PATIENT FEEDBACK

The Toowoomba Surgicentre recognises that patients may wish to express their opinion about the treatment and care they receive. Our aim is to provide a high standard of health care, whilst respecting patient's privacy and dignity.

If you, your family, or your Carer wish to comment about any aspects of care or treatment received, this can be done either verbally or in writing.

Upon discharge from the Facility, patients will receive a "Patient Satisfaction Survey Questionnaire" and your comments regarding your treatment are invited. All returned surveys are assessed by the Quality Coordinator and acted upon.

Complaints made in writing, without your identification, are investigated and discussed at Unit/Department meetings. If warranted, an Action Plan will be implemented to monitor and prevent recurrence of the problem/issue a written response will then be sent to the complainant outlining action taken.
